WhoGetsTM is owned by Arcavate Corporation. (Impressed? We hope so-Arcavate is a made-up name we created to try to sound ''big.'') Arcavate is a small web development company that is located in Charlotte, NC. Charlotte is a great city. You should visit.
WhoGetsTM is meant to be fun. Create a free membership, and I think you'll find we've succeeded in this lofty goal. Our site is about two big things: contests and content. (Clever alliteration, huh?)
Let's start with the contests. Winning stuff is fun, but random drawings aren't exactly a thrill a minute. That's why we do things differently. You get to decide who gets some really cool stuff. Also, it's an entertaining way to view and discuss products you might be planning to buy anyway. Of course, how cool would it be to win it for free?! Enter a contest and see - it might happen. At the very least, you'll have a say in who wins. We've never seen a sweepstakes or contest like this before.
The prizes range from $10 to $600 - so while that Mercedes coupe you've got your eye on might be out of our range, you've still got an opportunity to win something awesome. This price range allows us to be flexible and ultimately offer more contests and prizes.
The How It Works page will tell you everything you need to know. Check out the FAQs for answers to all of your burning questions-okay, we don't fill you in on the meaning of life or anything. But the FAQs explain the ins and outs of our contests.
Alas…you weren't the lucky winner. All is not lost, my friend. We also offer unobtrusive ways to buy products through our sponsors. We're not going to get in your face-ever! On some other sites, you've got to wade through a lot of bad deals to get to the fun. Not WhoGetsTM! We list the hottest deals around-but you won't see them unless you want to.
If you want to shop, just visit our sponsor pages. If you can't stand suspense, take advantage of our Buy It Now option and satisfy that urge for immediate gratification. We are proud of the offers on our site, but we are more concerned that the WhoGetsTM members have a fun and interesting time.
On to the content. The other half of WhoGetsTM is WhozNewsTM. This is where you submit articles, stories, blog posts…basically, if it's written words on the web, you can submit it. When you come across something interesting, informative, funny, or completely bizarre, submit to WhozNewsTM
Other members of the WhozNewsTM community can read it. If they like it too, they'll give it a Get. The more Gets you receive, the higher up your story moves on the homepage. Make it to the top, and all the world will learn of your ability to ferret out the most fascinating stuff on the web.
Speaking of what a cool person you are, you can also submit stuff you've written yourself. You can promote your website or blog by submitting your best articles and posts.

Last but not least, member profiles give you some insight into the psyches of your fellow users. Either that or they show you what other members submitted and voted for. Member profiles are a log of your activity on WhozNewsTM and a record of the contests you've entered and who you voted for. You can meet people who share your interests, and make sure you're voting for the contestant you deem most worthy.
All in all, our goal is to put you in charge. Not because we're lazy. It's because no one knows what users want better than the users themselves.
